OEM Clamping Jaws & Copper Electrodes for Temelsan Flash Butt Welders

Clamping jaws and high-conductivity copper electrodes are the core electrical contact points of any resistance flash butt welding system. In Temelsan KN series welders, clamping jaws perform two demanding tasks simultaneously: transferring massive secondary welding currents (up to 40 kVA or more) into the blade ends with minimal contact resistance, and applying multi-ton hydraulic clamping force to secure the blade flat without slippage during the upset forging stroke. Zagora Saw supplies 100% genuine Temelsan upper and lower clamping jaws, jaw holders, and electrode sets engineered to original factory specifications.

Premium Materials & Precision Machining

Substandard or worn electrodes cause uneven current distribution, localized arcing, pitting on the blade surface, and cold welds that snap prematurely under sawing tension. Our clamping components are engineered from superior alloys:

  • High-Conductivity Copper Alloys: Manufactured from vacuum-cast Beryllium Copper (CuBe2 / RWMA Class 4) and Chromium-Zirconium-Copper (CuCrZr / RWMA Class 2) for maximum electrical conductivity and high resistance to thermal deformation.
  • Precision-Ground Contact Faces: Mirror-flat clamping surfaces ensuring 100% surface contact across the entire blade width from 6 mm up to 100 mm.
  • Integrated Cooling Passages: High-efficiency water-cooling channels designed to dissipate extreme weld heat rapidly, extending electrode lifespan and protecting machine clamping arms.
  • Model Compatibility: Dedicated jaw profiles calibrated for Temelsan KN 41 HBC, KN 41 HBS TOUCH, KN 54 HBC, KN 67 HBA PLC, KN 67 HBS, and KN 100 HBA PLC welding machines.

Electrode Maintenance & Factory Replacements

Regularly cleaning electrode surfaces with non-abrasive brass brushes removes weld spatters and oxide layers that impede electrical current. When clamping surfaces develop grooves or uneven wear, replace both upper and lower pairs together to maintain uniform pressure across the blade back and tooth line. We maintain an extensive inventory of Temelsan clamping jaws ready for rapid shipment from our Florida warehouse.
